Would you eat live coconut worm? This Vietnamese specialty crawls around your plate

A group of young diners recorded themselves eating raw coconut worms in a bowl of fish sauce and chilli at a restaurant in Kbang, Vietnam.

Known locally as "Đuông Dừa" the local delicacy is a form of beetle larvae and shows the live worms crawling around the plate and wriggling between chopsticks.

The dish has a great nutritional value too as earthworms are high in protein, iron and amino acids which help break down food. They also contain minerals such as copper, zinc and manga
