An interesting film from some 90 years ago about the building of a large heavy passenger locomotive for the main line. It seems hard to believe this was nearly a century ago - with one or two of this class 'The Princess Royal' Class being preserved and still hauls revenue paying punters on preserved lines and the weekends!

This was the Crewe Locomotive Works in all of it's glory where they turned out locomotives for countries all over the world.
