A 2-year-old girl was pulled from her family's pool on Sunday afternoon in Volusia County.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, the toddler was found face-down and unresponsive in the family's above-ground pool by relatives around 4:48 p.m. The family member pulled the girl out of the water and started CPR with guidance from a 911 supervisor until a deputy and fire rescue crews arrived.

A video shared by the sheriff's office reveals the 911 call as Telecommunicator Supervisor Thomas Eggers walks the family member through the steps of administering CPR to the girl.

Once deputies arrived at the scene, they took over CPR and eventually ran the child over to Fire Rescue crews, who arrived moments later. The toddler was soon responsive and crying, according to the sheriff's office.

The girl was taken to the hospital in serious condition for further treatment. She remains hospitalized, but is reportedly doing well and showing signs of making a full recovery.

An investigation into the situation is being conducted by the state Department of Children and Families.
