Body camera video from Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue shows crews responding to a Monday night boat explosion that left one person dead.
Several others were injured after the boat exploded at a Fort Lauderdale marina, according to a report from NBC Miami.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue told the station that the explosion happened at about 6 p.m. at Lauderdale Marina. The fire from the blast then spread to a second boat.
Three of the five people hospitalized have “traumatic injuries,” according to NBC Miami.
One person who was missing in the water was found dead, officials said. He has been identified as Sebastien Gauthier, 41, of Quebec.
It's unclear what caused the explosion. The fire is still under investigation.
