Fugitive previously arrested 28 times throws chocolate milk, tire iron, and a knife during chase

Alliance, OH - Alliance police went on a wild ride Saturday evening in pursuit of a fugitive who had previously been arrested at least 28 times, as seen in police body camera footage.
Throughout the car chase that started around 7 p.m., the suspect, later identified as 41-year-old William Woolf of Alliance, threw out various items including a tire iron, chocolate milk and a knife in an attempt to stop police in their tracks.
Woolf led the officers through four counties, moving at speeds over 100 miles per hour. The chase ended when Woolf’s “vehicle was disabled by spike strips, and he crashed into a road sign and field,” police said in a statement.
Police said there were multiple arrest warrants out for Woolf from Stark County, Carroll County and the Canton Police Department. He reportedly had 19 open driver’s license suspensions and had previously been involved in two other chases involving Alliance police.
Woolf was charged with fleeing, vandalism, assault, methamphetamine possession among other things, according to police, and is at Stark County Jail at this time.
