City Bound

Just some 60 odd years later.. after successive f'eckless here today and gone tomorrow' Johnnies who happened to get themselves into office and boy didn't they mess things up. They never once asked the indigenous race(s) of this Green Isle (the English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh peoples )whether they wanted the people from all corners of the earth to be able to come here - often at the expense of the people already here. Even Tony Blair and the 'New Labour' lot were just as bad.. in 1997 after a landslide win Blair and his mob of mis-fits who were flush with winning decided to 'open-the-doors' to the people of Somalia who were and had been going through a terrible civil war... Labour thought a 100,000 or so would take up the offer... instead, over a million arrived within the first year totally overwhelming all the social housing in places like London. Not only did they 'open-the-door' they smashed the bloody lock and it couldn't be closed properly again. Most of those who came were women with young children (saying their men had been killed in the war).. most of them had large families and so were given all the prime housing stock meant for British families who had waited patiently for years to be allocated such housing. It has gotten much worse since then.. now we have race-related' riots, mob-fights and disturbances breaking out throughout the country for any perceived wrong doing. Great Britain was much better when days portrayed in this film of old held sway.
