Woman arrested after surveillance videos shows her trying to get into locked Pine County vehicles
Feel like a stay in a jail cell? Then visit any law enforcement office and mess with their squad cars.
That's what a Minnesota woman found out in Pine County, where surveillance video captured her trying to open the local sheriff's squads:
"It is not a good idea to try to steal cars," reads a Thursday Facebook post from the Pine County Sheriff's Office. "It is (an) even a worse idea to try to steal a squad car from our sheriff's office with great surveillance equipment."
According to the post, when deputies approached the woman, they asked if she was trying to steal their car — to which she replied, "not yet."
"Seriously, you cannot make this stuff up," the post said.
The woman, who has not yet been identified, was arrested for attempted theft. She's currently in the Pine County jail, the sheriff's office told Bring Me The News.
There's no word yet on potential criminal charges.
