CHP helicopter hoist a mountain bike rider who fell down 30 feet from a trail in China Camp

This evening, CHP H-32 responded with San Rafael Fire to a report of a mountain bike accident on a single track trail in China Camp. Further 911 callers reported that the rider had fallen approximately 30 feet off trail.

H-32 arrived overhead and lowered a crew member to the patient and firefighters who had hiked to the scene.

H-32 hoisted the patient from the scene and transported her to a waiting San Rafael ambulance. The rider was transported from the scene to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
