The Bakersfield Police Department has released body camera footage showing a police pursuit and an officer chasing down a suspect.

During the 60-second foot chase, the officer leaps over multiple fence before successfully apprehending the suspect.

The department edited the video to include the theme from the “Halo” video game series. A caption accompanying the video on Facebook reads, “Can’t outrun a rookie.”

The unidentified suspect was arrested for resisting arrest and possession of burglary tools.
