San Bernardino Police Arrest Suspect Found with Meth, Gun After Reports of Shots Fired in the Area
By: September 27, 2023 - San Bernardino Police Department officials report that recently, officers responded to the area of Lynwood and Loma referencing THREE gunshots heard in the alleyway. Officers arrived within minutes and scanned the area for anyone injured, as well as evidence such as bullet casings.
Officers encountered a subject in the area and attempted contact with him. This person fled from officers, leading them on a short foot pursuit over a fence and through a yard. The officers easily caught up with him and detained him.
Through further investigation, officers located a baggie of methamphetamine in one pocket and a handgun magazine with live 9mm ammunition in the other. Additionally, a 9mm handgun was also recovered. Lastly, officers found THREE fired bullet casings on the ground in the immediate area. Can you guess what caliber they were?
The suspect was arrested on new felony charges. He was a convicted felon currently on parole.
