On the afternoon of July 2, 2024, a detonation occurred on a boat at the pier in the seaport of Sochi in the Krasnodar Territory.

“During the initial verification activities, it was established that after refueling a small vessel, when starting the engine and leaving the berth, due to the accumulation of fuel vapors in the engine room compartment, detonation occurred, followed by the separation of the engine room cover,” reports the press service of the Western MSUT IC of Russia.

The crew members were not injured.
