I do not know how correct the translation of the bird's name is. We call it [snegir], from the Russian word for 'снег' [sneg], snow. The bird lives only in Europe, from the northern lands to Iran, it is not in your hemisphere.
In summer, these beauties are not visible at all - they live in dense spruce forests, but in winter they often visit cities - they fly in to feast on rowan berries.
