Enfield Police shared video of a police chase that began in Massachusetts, ended in Connecticut

Enfield, CT - According to Enfield police, they were notified about a vehicle that fled from Massachusetts State Police on Wednesday.

The Massachusetts State Police Air Wing followed the pursuit from the sky and called out the suspect vehicle’s location as it approached the Connecticut state line.

Enfield police said they slowed down the traffic that caused the fleeing vehicle to decrease speed.

The fleeing vehicle then attempted to use the break-down lane to pass the slowing traffic and was met with Enfield officers.

Police said they used a tire deflation device, and the vehicle ultimately lost a tire.

The operator and a passenger surrendered to police, according to officials.

It is unclear what led to the chase.
