People keep partying in central London after pubs close for Covid curfew

Large crowds partied in the streets of central London after bars closed at 10pm under the UK's new coronavirus restrictions.

A large group was seen carrying on the party in Leicester Square on Friday 9 October, in scenes replicated in cities across the country.

Critics say the rule that bars must now close at 10pm has been counterproductive as drinkers have simply gathered outside after the bars have closed.
