By: First off, it's obviously a vid from the tube by a guy called TekniQ and it's to him the credit goes for such an awesome vid - I just hope itemfix allows it through under the 'fair usage' rule.
I just thought it was quite amazing the amount of work that goes into something so transient (gone in a few seconds) and of so little value (monetary wise). It's hard for us in the west who are all used to gas lighters and very cheap lighters at that to comprehend why are they still being produced at the rate of about one billion sticks per year per manufacturer. Well, outthatway untold hundreds of millions don't have lighters and still rely on matches hence the amount produced. It looks like hard work too for most of the men concerned. The guys at the start stripping the bark off the sawn trunks appear to be working furiously with the wood pressing into the body's... gruesome labour. But, as said, would never of known the amount of work that goes into making matches.
