Arsonist in revenge attack
By: Surveillance cameras filmed the incident at a bar in northeast Moscow, which ended in arson.
The footage shows how a man approaches people standing at the entrance and starts pouring gasoline on them, after which one of the eyewitnesses pounces on him in an attempt to stop him.
During the scuffle, the suspect nevertheless managed to commit arson, but only he himself caught fire. During interrogation, the detainee stated that the reason was a conflict with the bar's guards.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident took place in the area of Yuzhnoye Medvedkovo, in the passage of Dezhnev. The attacker is a 48-year-old visitor.
None of the visitors to the institution were injured. A case of hooliganism was initiated, the suspect was arrested.
