Solar charging station
So the last solar charging station i made was just thrown together out of spare parts that i had sitting around ,,, this one i made correctly.
It got 2 - 100 watt solar panels hooked up in series , that goes to a Renogy Rover 20 amp solar charge controller.
That runs down to 2 - 100 watt hour lithium iron phosphate battery's , which then runs back up to a 2500 watt pure sine wave power inverter.
The solar panels and charge controller were $240.
The 2 LiFePO4 batteries were $325 , which sounds like alot for 2 batteries but they do the same job as 10 car batteries , so im not losing money by buying them .
The power inverter was $125 , so the entire deal was $690
So i spent almost $700 on something that i hope i never need to use , because if im using it , that means the power grid has gone down.
But if the power grid does go down then this thing will be worth its weight in gold.
