Boynton body cam shows man pulls gun during traffic stop, shoots himself in the chin
A man pulled a gun and shot himself in the chin during a traffic stop in Boynton Beach.
The incident happened just after midnight on Feb. 27, in the eastbound lanes of W. Woolbright Road.

Officers attempted to take Ibrahim into custody, but he immediately began to resist the officers' commands. Officers removed Ibrahim from the vehicle, but not before he pulled a gun from his waistband.
The interaction is all captured on body camera video.
Ibrahim raised the gun to his chin and fired one round, police said. He sustained injuries from the self-inflicted gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital, where he is in critical condition.
Officers were not injured during this incident.
Ibrahim is being charged with carrying a concealed firearm, resisting arrest without violence and improper exhibition of a firearm.
