from Cardiff Canton (anglo's stomping ground) comes this magnificent D00M-esque 120 ton beast of a machine made in the Vulcan Works at Newton-Le-Willows... (ballasted up from 100 tons) an English Electric 12CSVT a 12 cylinder lump with each cylinder giving 15.4 litres per pot (each cyl being 10" bore by 12" stroke - they were big bastads and the ground vibrated when they trundled past).

This one just needs a little tlc to purr like a good-un and it'll put in a days work!
