This morning, CHP H-30 responded with Marin County Fire Department, Southern Marin Fire District, the National Parks Service, and a City of El Cerrito Fire Department Helicopter Rescue Technician (HTR) to a report of two people (male and female) stuck on a cliff near Point Bonita.

As firefighters searched from above, H-30 was able to locate the parties approximately 400 feet from the top. The H-30 crew lowered the El Cerrito Fire HRT member to the victims. Both the male and female were rescued by H-30 and delivered to firefighters who were waiting above. Fortunately, neither of them were injured.
