Ohio trooper lectures truck driver after catching her in the ‘wrong lane’

A trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is able to put a stop to a truck driver traveling the wrong way in this dash cam/body cam video.

OSHP released the video on January 11, 2023.

In the clip, a patrolling trooper spots a commercial vehicle “driving in the wrong lane on SR79 in Licking County.”

The trooper is able to pull over the truck and makes sure to impress upon the driver that her actions could’ve had serious consequences.

“You take 40,000 pounds, you’re going 50, 55 m.p.h., I’m sure, I didn’t check your speed, but I’m sure you were going at least that speed. If a car’s coming at you at 50, the speed limit, that’s a 100 m.p.h. impact,” the trooper says.
