A manhole cover flied up and hit a car after an air pump in the sewer exploded in eastern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province on November 1, shows a manhole cover suddenly flying up and striking onto a black car driving past.

According to the construction worker on site, the incident was caused by the explosion of an air pump in the sewer during the construction work.

The construction party would compensate all the loss, reports said.
