Cow stuck in the mud for two days rescued by fire department in India
By: A cow, which had become stuck in mud overnight after falling into an 8-foot ditch in the Chennai metropolis, was rescued safely by the fire department after a three-hour operation on January 3.
The incident took place near Ambedkar Law College in the Perungudi Kallukuttai area of Chennai, eastern India.
Young people from the area found the distressed animal body-deep in mud and informed the fire station.
