A scooter rider narrowly avoided serious injury by a truck after being run over in southwestern China.

The terrifying video, shot in the city of Yuxi in Yunnan Province on July 30, shows a yellow truck knocking over the scooter rider and running her over.

The scooter was damaged seriously but the scooter rider luckily avoided being run over by the wheels.

According to reports, the truck driver did not notice the scooter as it was in his blind spot.
