Employees of Conservative Companies Go To Work
By: The biggest employers of illegal immigrants in the USA are the agriculture and construction industry, which also happen to be conservative and historically vote Republican.
Rather than spending tax dollars to build a "wall", why don't we increase the penalty of employing an illegal from $3,000 to $300,000? Instead of costing us tax dollars, this would pay for border enforcement. Our illegal immigration problem would disappear.
But of course this will never happen. The GOP relies on rich agriculture and construction industry donors, and the agriculture and construction industry relies on inexpensive illegal labor. Solving the illegal immigration problem is the LAST thing that the GOP wants.
And, of course, the GOP heavily relies on uneducated voters who are told that illegals are stealing their jobs and costing us tax monies.
