Shows Landon Town before the UK got itself in an unnecessary world-wide brawl (in my very humble opinion) of which it had little to do with other than a strong desire to want to be seen as the Big Boy In Town.... world events soon wiped that smirk off the UK's boat-race.. and reduced the place to rubble in places which took many decades to put right. Instead of supplying the world (at the time) with munitions which the country could ill afford to produce and to give away in an attempt to 'Bash The Gerrie's' with.. the UK should have kept it's counsel and steered well clear of the fast developing mass slaughter that was only a year or two away from the idyllic scenes shown here... at the end of the hostilities it was reckoned to be over 55 million souls lost. What a waste of people and resources.
