A snake bit a child at zoo

It is noted that the staff of the terrarium assured the parents of the child that the reptiles can be picked up and that they are safe. However, the snake grabbed the cheek of a five-year-old girl.

The child was given first aid and taken to the hospital to make sure the snake was not poisonous.

As stated in the petting zoo, the attack could have occurred due to the fact that before that the girl touched the chickens and the smell remained on her skin.
