Suspect arrested after three-county police chase
Traffic cameras tracked a police chase that started in Milwaukee and ended in Kenosha County Monday.
The pursuit was started by Milwaukee police before 6 p.m. Monday, according to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department and Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
The pursuit went south on I-43 into Racine County and continued all the way into Kenosha County. Racine County deputies reportedly used spike strips on the car:
"Front tires are on rims, back tires are smoking. He's losing a little control, slowing down at 50," said an unnamed officer heard on dispatch audio.
Pleasant Prairie Police Department joined the chase to box the vehicle in and bring it to a stop.
Investigators closed the interstate to investigate before opening all lanes again around 6:50 p.m.
