Firefighters in Connecticut on Monday rescued two people from a pickup truck that had become submerged in the icy waters of Long Island Sound at the height of the snowstorm.
According to officials, the driver was doing 'donuts' in the snow-covered parking lot in the harbor at Cummings Park in Stamford when the truck plunged into the frigid water.
The rescue was shows Stamford firefighters in special thermal gear going into the water to pull the occupants of the sinking pickup truck to safety
