He wrote “Thank u god for giving me an angel for a mother,” while captioning a beautiful photograph of Beverly. He 1st shared a photo of himself with the caption “Walk by faith not by sight. Smile Snoopy that’s what U would say when it was time to take a picture TWMA.” He later shared two separate photos of his mom thanking her for having him, and publicly thanking God for giving him “an angel for a mother.” On Mother’s Day shared a photo of his mum on Instagram while in hospital and he went on to ask his 65 million followers to say a prayer for his mum. “I need all my prayer warriors for momma right now please and thank you.”
Her mother was an ordained evangelist and the author of two books, “Real Love,” and “Real Love II: The Story of an Extraordinary Woman.” Real Love II: The Story of an Extraordinary Woman was an autobiography that details her journey from her roots in the Deep South to the bright lights of Hollywood. She was born on April 27, 1951 in McComb, Mississippi, and grew up in Long Beach, California. She was mother of 4 sons who included rapper Snoop Dogg. During her 70th Birthday she talked about her health problems and thanked God for keeping her alive. She said “I am celebrating my 70th birthday and it’s been a joy coming to this, Even though there were times when I thought I wouldn’t make it. I’ve been a sick woman in the hospital for six weeks at a time, and didn’t know, but the God that I serve, he told me it wasn’t time and he let me live on just a little bit longer. And i’m so happy. I’m so blessed.” We send our condolences to snoop family during this trying time. RIP Mama Snoop. We will keep you updated on funeral arrangements.
