The Railway Men - 1946
By: the war has just ended and the railways need plenty of manual labour- hence this old film about different types of jobs. Produced for the Ministry of Transport by the Central Office of Information (saying 'information' in 1946 was akin to saying 'personal computers' in the 1990's it had a certain something).
skip the first couple of minutes unless you are a true Gricer or sucker for punishment... overall, not a bad filum for the period.
