Suspicious male arrested and then makes deadly threats, spits on and kicks the deputies
Late Saturday (6/3/23) night, deputies responded to a call of a suspicious male that was observed loitering outside a residence on Bickford Dr. Deputies arrived at the scene and located the subject in the area who matched the description provided by the caller. The male subject refused to identify himself and was verbally defiant, causing a disturbance within the neighborhood.
The male began to aggressively resist deputies and berated and threatened the deputies on scene by telling them that he would kill and murder them. Eventually, with the assistance of other deputies, the subject was placed in a patrol vehicle. He continued to kick and aggressively resist while in the vehicle, and spit in a deputy’s face.
The subject was later identified as Allante Ramone Johnson from Jacksonville, FL and transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. Johnson was charged with 3 counts of Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Threats to a Public Official, Corruption by Threat, Disorderly Intoxication, Loitering and Prowling, Resisting Arrest with Violence, and Resisting Arrest Without Violence. He is being held on $18,000 bond.
