Tyre explodes while being inflated, almost knocking Chinese worker off his feet

A tyre exploded while it was being inflated, narrowly missing a worker in eastern China.

The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Jining in Shandong Province on January 22, shows a tyre suddenly exploding and flying towards a worker when it was being inflated at an auto repair shop.

Fortunately, the worker moved away quickly, avoiding being hit by the flying tyre.

According to reports, the incident was caused by the tyre ageing.
