Weekend Cinema - the Routemaster
believe it or not I actually got a request for this one....'fantastic'.
London Transport had about 7,000 of these vehicles at any one time in their inventory so they needed an ahead-of-the-times-facility for fixing 'em and get 'em earning money again - which was their primary role. They built a massive factory on the outskirts of The Smoke whereby these machines could be stripped down within hours of entering, steam cleaning the underside and the frame. They were all aluminium so rust and corrosion was at a minimum. An interesting filum for a Rivet Counter but a nightmare for a 15 second TukTic merchant.... to those I'd recommend they adopt the Michael Jackson course of action...... it'll be for the best.....believe me.
