Weekend Cinema - Rail Related Malarkey
'Snow Drift At Lenham Heath in 1987 - NOT to be confused with a similar post last year called 'Snow Drift at Bleathe Gill' from the early 1960's. A consist had found itself stranded due to the snow being swept over the railway banks and an engine and plough sent to extract them found themselves stuck too - time for the big'un to have a go. A Class 47 was used to help pull out the first plough using a chain...I wouldn't like to have been anywhere near that chain when under tension.
