Dashcam video shows teen driver in a stolen car leads Moore police on a high-speed chase
The Moore Police Department shared a video of a pursuit involving a teen driver who refused to stop.
On Wednesday, April 3, police responded to a 17-year-old driver in a stolen car near Northwest 27th and Santa Fe.
The video starts near Southwest 19th and southbound I-35 in Moore, where the driver reaches speeds over 100 mph and is seen driving recklessly.
Police said to prevent any further risk, officers performed a successful maneuver near I-35 and Tecumseh.
The car goes off the road and comes to a stop.
Officers approach the vehicle as the driver gets out, and the video ends with police telling the teen to get on the ground.
The 17-year-old was taken into custody.
There's no word yet on what charges, if any, the teen may face.
Police said the entire pursuit lasted only a few minutes.
