'America was built upon transportation' the narrator tells us. America is the land of opportunity the land of progress and the land of Industrial leadership... the Farming Industry, the Timber Industry and Manufacturing Industry all needed heavy trucks to move everything about..... these old films were ostensibly adverts but what they have done is to capture the scene and historic record of the day 'the 1940's just before far off European wars were becoming a worrisome prospect....America was moving - fast. (bet they wish they had never become involved impho)
