Ship launch gone wrong almost crushes dock worker in Netherlands
During the launch of the 90-meter-long cargo ship Tasman in the Netherlands, an employee of the shipyard nearly was crushed by the vessel sliding into the water.
The launch took place at the Royal Bodewes shipyard in Hoogezand on February 18, 2019.
While the yard was open for the public and dozens of people watched the launch, a dock worker tried to remove a rope when the over 3000-ton ship was already sliding, barely avoiding being crushed.
