A 56-year-old resident of Pontiac was arrested after allegedly trying to run over his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend following an altercation.

Deputies with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office say the attempted assault happened in the 600 block of Columbia St. on Wednesday.
