In Kiev, on the night of December 27-28, KARS rescuers, lowering the injured man on a stretcher from the roof of the garage, could not restrain him. Later, the Kiev City State Administration clarified that there was a breakage of an item of equipment.

It is reported that rescuers were filming an injured man from the garage who was chasing thieves, landed unsuccessfully on the roof of the garage and broke his leg. In doing so, it is stuck between garage floors. It is not specified whether the man received additional injuries in the unsuccessful rescue.
