A manhole explosion sent a boy several metres into the air after he threw a lit firecracker inside in southern China.

The terrifying video, filmed in Changting County in Fujian Province on February 7, shows three children surrounding a manhole and dropping a firecracker down into it.

The manhole then exploded, sending a boy in a red shirt into the air. While another boy was seen falling down to the ground.

Fortunately, the two boys were not injured seriously,
