CHP hoist a mountain bike rider who was injured in remote trail in China Camp

This afternoon, H-30 responded with San Rafael Fire Department to a report of a mountain bike rider who was injured in a remote trail in China Camp.

With a GPS location provided by fire dispatchers, H-30 was able to locate the rider. H-30 lowered a CHP Flight Officer/Paramedic to the scene and placed the rider in a rescue harness.

The rider was hoisted from the trail and flown to a waiting Ambulance where he was further evaluated by fire paramedics.
