High-speed chase ends in capture of man accused of stabbing doctor in Jupiter
The Indian River County Sheriff's Office (IRCSO) said on Wednesday afternoon deputies engaged in a high-speed chase of a suspect accused of stabbing a doctor in Jupiter.
The sheriff's office says it was contacted by the Jupiter Police Department regarding the incident and was told the suspect, Nicholas Parchesco, was last seen speeding north on I-95.
Deputies say they immediately responded to the south county line and waited for the fleeing car.
Dash cam and aerial video taken by the sheriff's office shows law enforcement pursuing Parchesco in a white car.
The sheriff's office says with the help of its Real Time Crime Center, deputies were able to receive information about Parchesco's location and direction of travel.
Parchesco dangerously attempted to elude deputies. But the sheriff's office said deputies were able to successfully slow down and eventually stop Parchesco after various measures were utilized.
Deputies safely took Parchesco into custody, and no one was injured during the apprehension.
Parchesco faces multiple charges, including attempted murder.
