Body cam footage shows arrest of tattoo parlor murder suspect
Body camera footage released Friday shows the moment Pierce Township police and Clermont County sheriff’s deputies took a murder suspect into custody.
It happened Sunday right outside the tattoo parlor where he is accused of shooting and killing the shop’s owner, Brian Wilson.
Prosecutors say Michael Guilfoyle walked into the Stay Gold tattoo shop at the corner of Ohio Pike and Route 132 and demanded money from Wilson.
At some point, Wilson places a 911 call because prosecutors say Wilson can be heard on the call insisting that he does not have the money, pleading for his life and trying to get away.
Guilfoyle is accused of shooting Wilson 17 times.
Monday, his bond was set at $5 million.
He remains in the Clermont County Jail, where he celebrated his 34th birthday Wednesday.
It is unclear if Guilfoyle knew Wilson or why he wanted money from him.
