Driver arrested after fleeing from a traffic stop in San Bernardino

A Motor Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of Central Ave. and Mountain View Ave. After approaching the vehicle, it was determined the driver was unlicensed and had no registration or insurance.

While the officer obtained the driver's information, he suddenly accelerated away, leading to a pursuit.

The driver was then taken into custody, and it was discovered that he was intoxicated and had an outstanding warrant for a hit-and-run.
