Florida police departments release bodycam of deputies rescuing residents from Hurricane Milton
-----
After Hurricane Milton hit Florida earlier this week, safety teams are still rescuing residents stuck in their homes from floodwaters.
A 91-year-old woman was rescued in a suburb of Tampa, Florida after being stranded in her home due to floodwaters in her neighborhood.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, deputies carried the woman to safety and onto their rescue boat.
The water outside her front door was just about waist deep, with the water in the home reaching the ankles of the sheriff's deputies.
A video was posted showing the rescue in Lithia, Florida, close to the Alafia River.
The woman was not wearing any shoes when she was rescued. In the video, the deputies pass the woman to each other in their arms, successfully getting her onto the rescue boat.
