A tyre's sudden explosion knocked a man off his feet at a car repair shop in northern China.

The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Handan in Hebei Province on March 16, shows air suddenly bursting out of a tyre when it was being inflated, knocking over a man walking past.

The man was able to get back to his feet to move away from the tyre.

Fortunately, he only suffered minor scratches.
