Video shows OSHP Aviation locating missing child safely in bean field
The Greene County Sheriff's Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol Aviation recently teamed up to help safely locate a missing four-year-old child in a bean field.
According to OSP, on July 20, the Greene County Sheriff's Office requested OSHP Aviation for assistance with their search for a missing 4-year-old.
Officials said the child disappeared after playing in the backyard, then climbed over a security fence and ran into a cornfield west of the residence.
OSHP Aviation arrived on the scene and located the missing child approximately 500 yards away from the residence, in a bean field beyond a tree line. Pilots then guided ground units to his location, where he was safely reunited with his family.
